What is scrap PP/PET strapping and where is it used?

Scrap PP/PET strapping collected in collection and sorting warehouses in Turkey and various countries around the world is brought to our facility and first sorted. Depending on its cleanliness, the sorted scrap PP/PET strapping is then crushed, put through metal separation, optical sorting and dedusting, and offered for sale as a semi-finished product called scrap PP/PET strapping. With a very wide range of uses, the product is used again as a semi-raw material in PET strapping production or in the fibre sector.
